Angela, my heart goes out to you. I was talking to another friend who is currently trying to go through a divorce, and the shutdown of the courts aids and abets a divorcing spouse who wants to stall and use the court proceedings as a tool to extract more concessions. I have been listening to reports on courts but have yet to hear anyone working to get them reopened and functioning again.

Be strong, hang in there, all those things everyone is telling you… Remember that the friends who are turning on you were never your real friends to begin with (that was a hard one for me to deal with — it made me feel like so much of my life was a superficial fraud, and really broke my heart on top of the pain of the divorce).
